Transform your outdoor space into a sustainable haven with our eco-friendly bamboo fencing panels, the latest trend in contemporary home decor. While bamboo has been a traditional material for centuries, it has only recently gained popularity in the western world, where homeowners are increasingly drawn to its natural beauty and environmentally conscious properties.

Imagine relaxing in your outdoor living space, surrounded by the warmth and charm of bamboo fencing. Our panels not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of your patio but also contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle. The living area takes on a new dimension, blending seamlessly with nature, creating a tranquil oasis right at your doorstep.  In addition Bamboo fences are a great way to add privacy. They can be used to enclose your pool or other outdoor space, providing a secure and private barrier that keeps unwanted neighbors out. Unlike chain link fencing, which can easily be climbed or seen through, outdoor bamboo fencing offers a higher level of security and privacy.

Our bamboo screens are not solely for exterior use; you can also bring the charm of bamboo indoors. As the latest trend in contemporary home decor, bamboo continues to captivate homeowners by merging functionality with style, offering elegant and useful solutions for creating narrow private nooks within your home. Whether you desire a secluded reading corner, a designated workspace, or a stylish partition, these bamboo screens adapt effortlessly to your needs, allowing you to explore different sitting arrangements in a warm and wooden ambiance that doesn't compromise on style.

The idea behind our bamboo fencing goes beyond aesthetics; it's a commitment to environmental responsibility. Bamboo is known for its rapid growth and renewability, making it an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fencing materials. By choosing bamboo, you not only add a touch of natural elegance to your outdoor space but also make a positive impact on the planet.

Our bamboo panels are meticulously crafted to withstand environmental stress and various weather conditions, including scorching sun, heavy rain, and gusty winds. Our fencing ensures durability without compromising on style. You can enjoy your patio as an extension of your living space, whether you're entertaining guests, unwinding with family, or simply admiring the beauty of the outdoors.

When it comes to rain, bamboo exhibits a natural resistance and can handle damp conditions reasonably well. While it is not completely waterproof, proper maintenance and treatment can enhance its water resistance. Regular upkeep is essential to identify and repair any damaged or weakened sections in the bamboo fence. By applying water repellents and a protective finish, you can further fortify your bamboo fence against water and moisture.

In addition to rain, bamboo is generally resistant to dry conditions, making it suitable for areas prone to drought. However, prolonged exposure to extreme drought may impact the durability of the bamboo fence, causing it to become more fragile. Therefore, it is important to monitor the fence's condition and provide necessary care during extended periods of drought.

With our carefully designed bamboo panels, you can trust that your fence will withstand rain and drought to a considerable extent. Our goal is to provide you with a durable and visually appealing fencing solution that allows you to enjoy your outdoor space, regardless of the weather conditions.

Four interesting facts about bamboo fencing:

1.    Environmentally Friendly

Bamboo Privacy Screen

Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants – 3 to 5 years to grow & harvest, being a highly renewable material and a prodigious alternative for traditional construction materials, including wood and other non-renewable materials. It is much more sustainable than other materials because it can absorb as much as 12 tones of CO2 per hectare per year and produces more than 35% more oxygen than other trees, giving the plant a potentially crucial role in stabilizing our planet's atmosphere[1].

 2.    Strong and Durable. How long does a bamboo fence typically last?

A bamboo fence, when properly maintained, is typically expected to have a lifespan ranging from 7 to 15 years. This durability feature translates to a long-term investment, saving you money on frequent replacements or repairs.

Being a grass, and not a wood, bamboo is stronger than traditional renewable design and constriction materials. Flexible and with a tensile strength considered stronger than mild steel, it can be stretched and pulled without breaking, and it can withstand damage from termites and rot over time. What a great material!

 3.    Bamboo fences feature super-fast installations.

Bamboo fences are one of the most versatile options you’ll find in the market: available in a wide variety of colors, heights, and styles, these can be shaped and curved given the nature of this material.  In addition to their versatility, bamboo fences offer a distinct advantage in terms of installation speed. Unlike other fencing options that might involve complex processes and specialized equipment, our Best Bamboo rolled fences are designed for hassle-free installation, making it a perfect DIY project.

How should a bamboo fence be placed and assembled?

  • Should bamboo be screwed to a wooden fence or frame?

If bamboo is being attached to a wooden fence or frame, it is recommended to pre-drill before screwing to prevent any damage to the bamboo.

  • How should the fence parts of a bamboo fence be mounted?

The fence parts of a bamboo fence should be mounted slightly off the ground, typically keeping a distance of 2 cm to avoid direct contact with the ground.

4. Bamboo offers versatile options

Bamboo fencing offers a wide range of options in terms of appearance, color, and length.

With a natural bamboo frame, you can choose the height that best suits your needs. Bamboo fences come in heights ranging from 4 feet to 7 feet. If you have a small yard or garden area, then the shorter option will work well for you, while those with larger spaces may want to opt for a taller fence structure.

You can also choose whether to have your fence painted or left natural (unpainted). If you prefer not to change the natural look of bamboo, then this is an excellent choice, as it will blend seamlessly into any landscape without any additional work on your part. However, if you would like some added color or style, then painting might be something worth looking into as well!

Bamboo poles have been used to create bamboo fences and privacy screens for a long time. Our bamboo fences are used for fencing, privacy screens for your deck or any other decorative purpose where a tropical theme is needed. Our bamboo fences come in different sizes and are considered as an option for separating portions of gardens into various parts.

Our Best Bamboo screens are made from Phyllostachys Aurea, a unique tropical running species of bamboo found in Colombia. Poles are cut along the node to prevent water penetration and are then held together with heavy-gauge galvanized wire, allowing the screen to curve easily and providing an incredibly durable and strong screening. Remember, care and appropriate maintenance equal durability!

To ensure the longevity and pristine condition of your bamboo fence, regular maintenance is crucial. Follow these comprehensive steps to properly maintain and protect your bamboo privacy screen:

Begin by sanding the surface of the fence to eliminate any unwanted debris and open up the bamboo pores, allowing for optimal absorption of the subsequent sealer. This step is particularly beneficial when you notice the bamboo starting to turn white due to the harmful UV rays.

Next, generously spray The Best Bamboo cleaning solution onto the surface of the fence, ensuring thorough coverage. Allow the solution to soak for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, allowing it to penetrate and loosen any dirt or grime. To effectively remove any residue, gently scrub the fence using a nylon bristle brush. Once complete, wipe away any remaining residue with a clean towel.

Once the cleaning process is finished, it's essential to rinse the fence using a power washer. This step ensures that all cleaning solution and loosened debris are completely removed from the bamboo. After rinsing, it's crucial to exercise patience and allow the fence to dry completely. This typically takes around two days, but it may vary depending on weather conditions and the humidity level in your area.

Now, it's time to apply The Best Bamboo ultimate weather protection sealant. Thoroughly mix the sealant according to the provided instructions. You can choose to apply the sealant using a brush, spray, or roll, depending on your preference and the size of your fence. It's important to note that the application of the sealant should only be done under appropriate weather conditions. Avoid applying it during extreme temperatures or when there is excessive moisture in the air.

For those who wish to expedite the drying time, gently scrape off any sticky residue with a nylon bristle brush. This helps release solvents that may be trapped within the bamboo. Once dry, inspect the fence for any remaining residue and remove it accordingly. Applying a second coat of sealant can further enhance the results and ensure long-lasting protection.

It's important to remember that like any other natural product, bamboo can experience aging, mold growth, cracking, or staining over time. However, by diligently cleaning and sealing your Best Bamboo fence, you can easily address these issues and restore its beautiful appearance without compromising its structural integrity.

Now armed with this comprehensive maintenance guide, you can confidently maintain your bamboo fence and enjoy its beauty and longevity for years to come!
